When Emily was less than a month old, I was left home alone in charge, it was my first time alone with this precious bundle of blankets, a very scary moment - primary parent I am!
In due course she feel asleep in my arms so I transferred her to the moses basket, (on reflection a rather unstable wicker type basket affair on a flimsy wooden stand), the thought being I could get on with some coding while all was quiet!
In times of professional (and personal) turmoil, I lavishly avail myself of the sound and often timely advice freely on offer over at GFDA.
In homage to the style, frankness and honestly of GFDA, I've been busy making some wallpapers of my own which I plan to sport at various upcoming meetings.
Please feel free to download and use them when you find the need arises and may I suggest that you, like me, master the five (or single) finger gesture if you're on a Mac so you can reveal the desktop wallpaper at the optimal moment.
I've been digging over our 10" x 8" veg patch, I did the same thing last year but didn't get round to planting anything... hopefully this year I'll actually plant and grow something (veg).
As with most things, I've no idea what I'm doing so reading a lot of articles online.
It's time again for Drupalistas throughout the land to gather together in the North West to eat pizza and drink beer... Oh, and yes - perhaps we'll talk about Drupal and who knows, we may even hack on some code!
Some years ago I was 'bottled' in a club, I consider myself extremely lucky - I say lucky because the bottle was thrown hitting the back of my head, there was blood but I didn't need stitches.
A local man from Scorton was not so lucky - he lost his life recently in a bottle attack.
Some time ago I created a blog post entitled Vim Tips, I wanted to document the handy Vim shortcuts I used on a daily basis, perhaps those lesser known but what makes Vim awesome shortcuts.
Occasionally though, really good Vim articles pop up on Twitter and other such places, much better articles than I could ever write - so here's a list for reference of what I've found useful, thanks go to the authors for their efforts!
