Le Tour de Drupal - London to Newhaven Route
About this time last year I rode from London to Paris on my 3-speed Brompton folding bike, it was a truly FAB experience and I would love to do it again some day!
One of my main worries about the trip was the route to take from London to Newhaven, I emailed several cycling groups and some nice folk over at www.cyclechat.net sent me some route suggestions, all of which were really helpful and I finally came up with this route which starts from Trafalgar Square and takes you to Newhaven:

London to Paris Brompton Bike ride for the Meningitis Trust
Hey, I'm riding my Brompton from London to Paris next month in aid of the Meningitis Trust, I plan to set off three days before Drupalcon Paris 2009 and should arrive in time for the events on Monday.
Training has begun so if you see me wheezing up and whizzing down the hills around Garstang please shout some abuse encouragement!

Brompton 2008 Newsletter
If you're Brompton mad like me, you'll look forward to the occasional newsletter from HQ. The most recent one just dropped into my inbox today, it details news of new products and improvements to the bikes hitting the shops from Jan 1st 2009.
They'll be new saddles, a new wide range hub (really lightweight), a lighter front wheel and a new right hand pedal (the non-folding one), there's a new front bag in the luggage department and some changes to the finish and colours available.
