Details of the teams and where events are taking place can be found at http://wiki.softwarefreedomday.org/CategoryTeam
I'll be attending the one at Madlab - Manchester Digital Laboratory, 36-40 Edge Street, Manchester M4 1HN, UK where a few of us from the North West Drupal user group will be demoing Drupal 7.

BBC Backstage Bash - GeekUp Christmas Bash
Good times (and beers) were flowing at the BBC Backstage Bash/GeekUp Christmas gathering last night at Pitcher & Piano, Manchester.
I arrived about an hour late as things were just getting underway, there was an excellent buffet, a free bar (at least whilst I was there!), a video link up with the London bash, 30+ Santas (and I thought there was only one!) and even someone working away on their laptop - GEEK ALERT!!!

Good things at the December NWDUG
We had a fantastic turn out at MDDA last night for the December Drupal user group!
It's always good to meet people turning up for the first time and hearing their stories about Drupal.
We also had a record number of peeps from CTI, Adam brought along 3 guys from their development team and they were more than happy to showcase some of the projects they'd been working on in exchange for chocolate and sweets ;)
