Location module - show full County name rather than County code
This is one of those easy fixes for something that can take time to figure out if you don't know where to look, I hope it's useful to someone!
The Location module allows real-world geographic locations to be associated with Drupal nodes, including people, places, and other content.

Clearing down test orders in Ubercart
Setting up and testing a Drupal 6 + Ubercart site with a payment service provider can result in a lot of test orders on the system so here's a quick procedure for clearing them down before handing the site over to the client.
Use at your own risk and ensure you have a back up of your database before you start!
Back up your database.
No really, back up your database, if you make a mistake here your data is gone bye-bye!

Trains grrrrrrrr, that is all I have to say about that.
I missed the first few minutes of the keynote but really enjoyed all I heard. Kevlin Henney talked about the uncertainty principle in software development, the tendency to make big decisions at the point of least knowledge in the project cycle. Kevlin advocated a change in thinking! Watch the video when it becomes available, it's well worth your time.

London DrupalCon Europe 2011 Proposal
There's been a huge effort from the UK Drupal community these last few days in putting together a proposal for the 2011 to take place in London. We finally posted it last night for all to see - http://groups.drupal.org/node/28098
Our main competition it seems is from mortendk who has a proposal in from the Danes - http://drupalcon.dk/cph/node/35
Should be interesting to see we progress and of course win! :)

Using Simpletest with Drupal 6
I started using SimpleTest today so I thought I'd document the process as I went along for personal reference as much as anything else.
Why use SimpleTest?
For me the reasons were pretty straightforward:
- I had wanted to for ages, the cool kids were using it and I didn't want to get left behind!
- I was working on a project that involved making changes to the guts of a lot of un-documented code, I wanted to know if my re-factoring was breaking anything.
